Ethan Kohler

Ethan Kohler, born in May 2005 in California, is a professional soccer player for Werder Bremen in Germany and is currently on loan at SC Verl for the 2025/2026 season.

In 2025, Ethan was called up to the U20 USMNT Team to play in the U20 World Cup in Santiago Chile helping Team USA make it to the quarter finals.

Previously, Ethan played for the Oakland Roots and San Jose Earthquakes MLS Next Pro.

He completed high school at Laurel Springs in the summer of 2023 with a 4.0 GPA and committed to play soccer at Stanford University in the fall of 2023 before committing to the Oakland Roots as a professional player.
